Lye Cross Farm

Lye Cross Farm is a family-run farm and cheesemaker that has been operating since 1952. Situated in the Somerset Vale of Wrington, they manage 4,300 acres of pasture land and a herd of 1,200 dairy cattle. Their ethos centers on sustainable agriculture, combining traditional cheesemaking techniques with modern technology to produce high-quality organic and conventional Cheddar cheese while minimizing their carbon footprint.

Award-winning West Country Farmhouse Cheddar cheese, produced on-site using milk from their own herd and other local farms, alongside locally sourced butchery and deli products.
