The Hop Shop

Castle Farm is a family-run, 1,100-acre farm in the Darenth Valley, managed by the Alexander family since 1892. They are the UK's largest lavender producer and also grow hops, apples, pumpkins, sunflowers, and arable crops, alongside a grass-fed herd of Welsh Black cattle. Their ethos centers on sustainable farming, active conservation, and high animal welfare standards, with 10% of the land dedicated to wildlife. They are known for their award-winning farm shop, on-site distillery for essential oils, and a range of natural sleep aids.
