Last updated 30 September 2026. These conditions apply to everyone who uses FarmShopHub — customers, guest shoppers and farm shops alike. They cover how you may use the platform and the conditions on which you buy produce from farms through it. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Farms selling through the platform are also bound by our separate Farmer Terms.
FarmShopHub is the trading name of Cub's Den Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 04271749), whose registered office is c/o Barnbrook Sinclair, 30 St. Johns Road, Woking, Surrey, GU21 7SA. Questions about these conditions can be sent to privacy@farmshophub.co.uk. These conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
FarmShopHub is a marketplace. Each farm is the seller of its own produce. When you place an order, your contract of sale is with the farm that grows, makes or re-sells the items you bought — not with Cub's Den Ltd. FarmShopHub provides the marketplace, the checkout and the payment collection service, taking payment on the farm's behalf.
What we promise at platform level: we process your card payment securely through takepayments, keep an accurate record of your order, pass your order and fulfilment details to the farm, and provide the order tracking, messaging and cancellation tools on the site. The farm promises to fulfil your order, and is responsible for the quality, safety and description of its produce.
You can browse and buy as a guest, or create an account to save addresses, mark favourites and track orders. You agree to give accurate, current information when you register or check out, to keep your sign-in details confidential, and to use the platform lawfully. Accounts are personal to you and may not be transferred or shared. We may suspend an account that breaches these conditions.
You must not misuse the platform: no placing orders you do not intend to pay for, no scraping or harvesting data or content, no interfering with the site's operation, no probing its security, and no uploading or posting content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful. You may only use the embedded shop, messages and other features for their intended purpose. Detailed rules — including prohibited content, age-restricted goods, and how we handle intellectual-property complaints — are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these conditions by reference.
The FarmShopHub name, logo and the design, text and code of the platform belong to Cub's Den Ltd or our licensors. Farm shops keep ownership of the content they upload (farm profiles, images, product descriptions) and, by uploading it, give us the permission we need to display it on the platform — including on a farm's own embedded shop — and to promote the farm on FarmShopHub. Nothing in these conditions transfers any of our intellectual property to you.
When you place an order we send confirmations and updates to the email address you give us, so it must be valid and monitored. Service messages about your orders (confirmation, fulfilment updates, cancellation decisions) are part of the service and are not marketing — see the Cookie Policy for how preferences are handled.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Placing an order is your offer to buy; the contract is formed when the farm accepts it — which it does by confirming the order, or by making the items available to you. We take your payment at checkout on the farm's behalf. If a farm cannot fulfil an order (for example, stock runs out or an item fails a freshness check), we will tell you promptly and refund anything you paid for the affected items. Pre-order items are supplied from the future stock batch shown on the listing.
Each farm sets its own fulfilment options — local delivery (with its own areas, fees and free-delivery thresholds), click & collect from its shop or mobile stops, or both. The options, fees and time windows shown at checkout are the farm's terms. Ownership of the goods passes to you on delivery or collection, and the risk in them passes with it.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. Because you are buying by distance, you normally have 14 days from receiving goods to change your mind and cancel; the refund is handled by the farm and paid back to your original payment method. If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, tell the farm (or us) as soon as you can and the farm will put it right — replacement or refund — in line with your statutory rights.
The perishable exception: fresh food is different from ordinary online shopping. Food that spoils quickly — and items harvested, prepared or picked to order, such as pre-order batches and pick-your-own produce — may be exempt from the 14-day cancellation right once the farm has started preparing them for you, and we may be unable to accept a cancellation on the farm's behalf once items are on their way. You will always be told before you order when a listing is a pre-order, so you can decide with that in mind. Nothing here limits your rights if the food is faulty or not as described.
You can request a cancellation from your account while an order is still pending — the farm reviews and answers it, and we keep a record on both sides.
Where a farm offers it, you can place an order without paying online and pay the farm when you collect. The order is recorded as unpaid until then. You must pay the farm on collection, and the farm may cancel the order if it is not collected within a reasonable time. Refunds for these orders are arranged directly with the farm.
Because each farm is the seller, FarmShopHub is not responsible for the quality, safety, description, delivery or legality of the farm's produce — those responsibilities belong to the farm, and the farm answers to you under consumer law. Our responsibility is for the platform-level duties described above. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits either party's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If we are liable to you, our liability is limited to the value of the order or fees in question.
We may update these conditions from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the one that governs that order — we show the date above whenever we update them, and for anything significant we will let you know. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated conditions for future use and orders.
These conditions work alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (you can change your at any time). If you sell through the platform, our Farmer Terms also apply to you, and our Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses the platform. Questions or concerns about these conditions can be sent to privacy@farmshophub.co.uk.
